CoCo Sugar Naturals was born out of sheer necessity.
Its founder, Nichole Maines-Farley, has been a lifelong eczema sufferer. She remembers being kept awake all of those long miserable nights itching and scratching all over and feeling self-conscious about the rash that seemed to have no mercy on this little girl from Cincinnati, Ohio.
Nichole recalls, “Sometimes my scalp would itch so bad that I would often scratch a bald spot in the back of my hair at the nape” “I would go to the doctor regularly to get the prescription for my steroid cream”
As Nichole grew older, she became accustomed to those doctor visits and trips to the local pharmacy to get her ‘witchy poo cream’ as she used to call it. In the years to follow she would learn about Shea Butter and some of the amazing properties that it had and thought she would give it a try. She always loved the way her skin felt after using it but was never a fan of its smell or texture.
And coco sugar naturals was born
She began to experiment with different formulas and WHAAALAAAAH!
In 2015 CoCo Sugar Naturals was born. A self-proclaimed mad scientist she remembers her very first trial was a tub of yellow grease…LOL!
Not to be outdone by this cream from the MuthaLand she perfected her formula and launched her brand. Her friends and family loved it!
She often sells out at vendor shows and online.
